We did however find an article on how a people within a social network had racists’ comments and there fore their accounts were closed. That raises another issue of freedom of speech on the Internet, and where do we draw the line? How do we catch and band those who offend? I have looked and analyzed different social networks, and i am seeing alot of marketing and advertising. Think about each friend has about five friends who has five friends. Do you think this is the new way to marketing and advertising ("the free way")?
If you use social networks like Black Planet, Asian Avenue, Migente do you also use more culturally general social networks like Friendster, Facebook, and Myspace? If so, why do you use both social networks? What do each of the social networks provide for you?
The web is what brings us together. what are your feelings on social networking? Are you more old fashioned and think social networking should still be done face to face or are you cool with meeting people online? For those of us who will be graduating college and thrust out into the real world, trying to find a job, what are your feelings?
